This herb is a great addition to any herb enthusiast. With its slender aromatic leaves and mild sweet onion flavor these greens are great raw or cooked. They are great to use in soups, stir fry dishes and as a garnish. If left to grow long enough they produce round lavender colored flowers that are also edible!
Days to Germinate
Low germination rates so be sure to over-seed!
Days to Harvest
Snip the tops of leaves after leaves reach 6 inches tall or more. Harvest from the base of leaves to avoid plants with cut tops.
We source our seeds from our friends at Baker Creek Seed Company.
